Born to Balan and Soudhamini at Anela village Quilandy, Kozhikode district in 1986. Completed Diploma with first class from Calicut school of fine arts and 5-year national Diploma course from mural arts centre guruvayoor Devaswom in traditional mural painting s of Kerala Along with traditional mural painting, started to blend the Neo–romantic styles and became famous in the field in a short period. The insistence for perfection even in minute details of the paintings, variety in content selections, a daring experiment in synthesising contemporary in the traditional art forms can be considered as an apt introduction to the artist conducted research exhibitions in and out of India from 2008 onwards. Participated in the ‘Yakshi Yanam’ national camp conducted by Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy in 2019, representing Kerala Mural arts. Created one of the largest mural paintings in Kerala art forms painted murals in Meenakshi mandir at Trivandrum and Chowallur temple and Sulthan Bathery Ganapathy temple. Solo work of grand mural painting of about 4000 feet at Surya Narayana temple. Kadirur is nearing completion. Repainting of Daru Shilpa work at Manathana kundain Mahavishnu kshethram under kathyoor Devaswom is also Close to completion Has done many paintings at various parts of India, of these, ShivKudhumba at Nasik has earned the wide accolade. In Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy and the private collection s of Padmasree Mohanlal, Suresh Gopi, Soorya Krishnamoorthy, M.G Rajakrishnan and M. G Sreekumar can boast the presence of painting by Babeesh.In addition to these works of Babeesh can be seen in America, European Countries and Africa Babeesh is now working as a freelance painter, leading classes and camps in various centres in and out of India.
